LUNCHEON 2010
The Committee has approved the offer to hold the Annual Club Luncheon at
the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Wetherby,
Yorkshire
on
Sunday 21st February
2010
. The ticket price will be just £16.
Nigel Land and Elsie Huntingdon have found a speaker to entertain us after the
Lunch. He is Ken Russell, a former Tour of Britain winner who went on to run a
bike shop in
Bradford
.
However, why not make a weekend of it. As part of the package, favourable
group rates have been organised with the hotel. Two
nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast at just £65 per person sharing a twin or
double room. There is regrettably a supplement for single occupancy. A coach is
being arranged for travel from
London
on the Friday (assuming there is
sufficient interest) and also to take the whole group from the hotel to
York
for the day on Saturday.
